House Interior
There is severe fire and smoke damage throughout the building but more so bedroom 2 of the dwelling. The timber roofing structure, timber ceilings, wall framing and window frames are all severely charred.
The fire appears to have started in bedroom 2 and then continued upwards severely damaging the trusses over the bedroom. The fire has then traveled along the length of the ridge charring trusses in the adjacent garage.
The flooring is badly charred and has suffered water damage due to fireman activity and being left exposed to the extreme weather events over the last few months.
The ceiling and underfloor insulation will require replacement.
House Exterior
There is fire damage to the weatherboard cladding around the bedroom 2 window and the soffits and spouting above. The roof cladding has been severely damaged and will require replacement.
